André Bizette-Lindet (1906-1998)

Student at the Fine Arts Grand School in Paris, André Bizette-Lindet won the First Prize of the Prix de Rome in the sculpture category in 1930. made the figures on the bronze doors of the Museum of Modern Art of Paris in 1937, he decorated the French Pavilion for the 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair and he participated in decorating the French Embassy in Ottawa in 1938. He was appointed Peintre officiel de la marine in 1947.
