Framed work

Revealed through a first exhibition at the Zborowkski gallery in 1928, Émile Sabouraud vowed a lifelong cult to Émile Othon Friesz who had been his teacher. But this draughtsman associated to the Lyrical Reality Movement quickly proved that he was an unparalleled artist too. A “very distinctive temperament” can be read about him the Benezit Dictionary of Artists. Around twenty museums, including the museums of Algiers, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Lyon, Marseille and Paris, exhibit his works.
