Passeurs d’art
Born of a long artistic mentoring started in 1987 alongside Joseph Foret who published Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso; the Cristel Editeur d’Art Centre, the only private art centre of the Emerald coast in Brittany, was inaugurated in April 2014 in Saint-Malo. It is dedicated to contemporary art and modern art.
Simultaneously creator of sculpture, printmaking and artists books, and publisher of numerous texts on the history of the Prix de Rome, one the School of Paris and on 20thcentury drawing and painting masters, it organizes four great annual exhibitions in a 100 m2 retail and exhibition hall in Saint-Malo, France, close to the large beach Plage du Sillon, between the train station and the historical walled city.
Very present in the world of art collectors, maintaining privileged bonds with the best artists of our time, the Cristel Editeur d’Art Center had the joy of editing in turn Raymond Moretti, Eduardo Arroyo, Ernest Pignon-Ernest, Henri Cueco, Mark Brusse, Peter Stämpfli, Valerio Adami, Vladimir Veličković, Erró, Jacques Villeglé, Peter Klasen, Philippe Cognée, Jan Voss, Antonio Segui, Michel Bez. Alongside, it continues a permanent work on exhibition and research on Emile Bernard, André Tondu and Pierre Jérôme, as well as Yvette Alde, Anne Limbour and Hélène Jousse.
It exclusively represents Damien Colcombet, animal sculptor, in all of Brittany.
